Product Description
Bianco Carrara is a marble with a predominantly white background and grey veining. This material is quarried in Carrara, Italy and is one of the many white marbles produced in this area. During the winter months, however, most of the quarries in Carrara are shut down for a period of time because of the harsh winter conditions of snow and ice.
Small pit holes are common in Bianco Carrara, as well as within other white marbles that are produced in the surrounding area. It is also a softer stone, and may be susceptible to scratching or abrasion. As various points in the quarry are reached, you might find variances in colour and pattern therefor it is important and recommended to try purchase slabs from the same batch if you would like a more consistence flow within your specified environment. Due to the variations that can occur we recommend that the product be viewed before purchase if a specific look is required.
