Connection Quartz – Product and Production details.

• The Connection Quartz production plant produces and manufactures its own machinery which produces the high quality quartz surface you have grown to love. This means that everything is done in house, keeping the quality of what is produced very high as each component is dealt with in house.
• The Connection Quartz plant has 100 production lines and a Ten million square meter annual output capability.
• Connection Quartz has been NSF certified, CE certified and SGS certified. NSF certification is your key to making sure that the products you use meet strict standards for public health protection. Choosing a product certified by NSF lets you know the company complies with strict standards and procedures imposed by NSF. CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area. The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA that are manufactured in, or designed to be sold in, the EEA. Certification services from SGS – demonstrate that your products, processes, systems or services are compliant with any regulations or standards.
• Manufacturing of Connection Quartz goes through rigorous quality control and uses only the highest of quality Raw materials, these materials are meticulously blended with up to 90% natural Quartz aggregates, with pigments and polymer resins. Connection Quartz surfaces and counter tops are manufactured through highly automated , yet strictly monitored processes that include the following:

Feeding and mixing: Raw materials are inspected, then fed into mixers and blended together.

Molding: The blended mixture is then poured into a mold and formed into a slab.

Pressing: The slab is then compacted by a special vacuum and vibration process that exerts 100 tons of pressure.

Curing: The slabs are then moved to a curing Kiln and heated at 90 degrees for 3 hours, this gives the slabs their ultimate strength and solidity.

Polishing: Slabs are then gauged, calibrated and polished to a high quality in a wide range of colours and designs. Textured finishes

Quality Assurance: Finally, the slabs pass through a stringent quality control test to ensure customers receive a top quality product.
